Aren’t Sacagawea and Pocahontas the same person?!

Hey there fellow Hawks! Glad to see you guys come back once again. This past week was probably the most stressful for me since I’ve been in college. Which is like three.

There were just so many things on my mind and there’s still so much on my mind. College is feeding my brain too much. I think my brain is going to have cholesterol with all the knowledge it’s getting.

Out of all my classes History 1301 is probably the hardest for me. I really don’t get what he’s talking about in there. And it’s U.S history. All my life I thought Sacagawea and Pocahontas were the same person. I was wrong. I think I’m going to head over to the Student Success Center one of these days to get tutoring in History.

My mom recently started calling me raccoon because “eye” have really bad dark circles from staying up to do homework. Not the best name to be called. I would’ve preferred “fatass” because I do eat a lot.

Last week I had mentioned that I was going to start a tennis club. Well, my co-president Amanda Woods and I started on the paperwork. It’s a lot of work hopefully, so we hope to get it done in time before the deadline. We are trying to do it during our breaks at school, but end up playing ping-pong instead. That is bad because procrastination gets you nowhere in life. And that’s a very bad habit I have with homework; I don’t do it until the day before it’s due.

During the weekend I do all my work on Sunday because I feel that I need at least one day off from school. Yet during that day off all I think about is doing my work and I stress about it which is not healthy. But how can I not stress about college? On the bright side, I found out we have like a month of vacation during the winter. My advising counselor, Mary Ramos, told me that. She was really helpful in giving me tips on how to achieve in classes. She is super nice and I’m really glad she is my advising coach. If you have question on advisor be sure to check them out in the Academic Advising room.

ericThis week there was also the Community Service Fair. I actually have to do community service for Learning Frameworks because it’s going to be my grade. Nonetheless, I don’t mind it at all. It’ll be an easy 100. I just hope that wherever we do decide to volunteer, isn’t too far.

In other news, this week was pretty chill not too many things happened besides the ones I just mentioned. I have a feeling that it’s because the university wants students to study and not get distracted, which is a pretty smart thing to do even though I love school events. I really just want this upcoming week to fly by because on Friday, hopefully fingers crossed, I’m going to be getting the iPhone 6. I’ll be waiting for the iPhone until about 3 a.m., so I’ll be really tired for Friday’s classes. It isn’t too bad, but I still won’t have much sleep.

Well, until next time fellow Hawkmates. Again don’t forget to leave a comment or suggestion. See you guys next week.

-Eric
